2. These terms

These terms apply to every order placed on aurum-labs.co, together with our Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy. Some sections apply differently depending on whether you buy as a consumer (for yourself) or as a business, laboratory or institution; where they do, we say so.

3. Research use only

All products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not medicines, have not been approved by the MHRA or any other regulator, and are not for human or animal consumption or any clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic use.

By ordering, you confirm that you will use the products only for lawful laboratory research, that you are responsible for handling and storing them safely, and that you will not supply them to anyone for human or animal use. We may refuse or cancel an order if we believe these conditions will not be met.

4. Who can buy

You must be 18 or over to order. You confirm this, and the research-use condition in section 3, when you place your order.

5. Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm your order. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, or a pricing error has occurred. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.

6. Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).

Orders to the European Union are shipped duties paid. Import VAT, any customs duty and the carrier’s handling fee are calculated at checkout and shown in your order total, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. If a carrier asks you for a charge anyway, email us the receipt and we will refund it.

Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. If we have made an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

7. Payment

You can pay by Pay by Bank (an instant payment approved in your banking app, provided by our payment partner) or by bank transfer using the account details and order reference we give you. We never see or store your bank login details.

Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared. We may cancel orders that remain unpaid.

8. Delivery

We deliver to the United Kingdom and all EU member states only. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours of payment clearing, Monday to Friday, and tracking details are emailed when your order ships.

UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24. EU orders are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked or by tracked courier, duties paid. Delivery times given by carriers are estimates, not guarantees.

The products become your responsibility, and you own them, once they are delivered to the address you gave us. Please make sure your address is correct; if a parcel is returned to us because it could not be delivered, we may charge the cost of sending it again.

9. Cancellations and returns

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains your right to cancel and what to do if an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect.

10. Your legal rights

If you are a consumer, the law says the products we supply must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

11. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

We are not responsible for any loss arising from use of the products other than for laboratory research in line with section 3.

If you buy as a business, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity.

12. Resale and acceptable use

You must not resell or supply our products to others without our written consent, or use the website for any unlawful purpose.

13. Intellectual property

All content on aurum-labs.co, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without our permission.

14. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will let you know and you may cancel for a full refund of anything not delivered.

16. Complaints

If you are unhappy, email support@aurum-labs.co. We aim to reply within 2 working days.

17. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or of the UK nation or EU country where you live, and you keep any protections that your local law gives you.

18. General

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on the website when you order applies to that order. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. Only you and we have rights under these terms.
